The Dee ring compromises between an eggbutt and a full cheek snaffle, preventing pinching at the corners of the mouth and without the dangers posed by the arms of a full cheek snaffle. The slow twist design creates distinct pressure points along the entire mouthpiece that provide a sharper "bite" on the bars, lips and tongue to encourage a faster response when the reins are engaged.
